Will this curriculum still work if I cannot find this book?
Yes! The 5 historical fiction books provide a comprehensive and excellent grounding in California history. The Audubon guide will fill out the habitats, plants, geology, and animal life; the links below provide additional stories that embellish the curriculum. There are more choices available in the curriculum than will fit in 1 year of study. Omitting a few stories will not adversely impact a study of the Golden State.
We suggest bookmarking this page, so you will have it ready as you move along in the curriculum. Additionally, should you want to find this book at a library, see information in this post.
