Will this curriculum still work if I cannot find this book?
Yes! The 5 historical fiction books provide a comprehensive and excellent grounding in California history. The Audubon guide will fill out the habitats, plants, geology, and animal life; the links below provide additional stories that embellish the curriculum. There are more choices available in the curriculum than will fit in 1 year of study. Omitting a few stories will not adversely impact a study of the Golden State.
